A significant mistake: Ukrainians were warned about possible fines in “Rezerv+

Ukrainians who are conscripted into the military now have the opportunity to pay a fine for violating military registration requirements through the “Reserve+” service. However, this procedure has its own peculiarities that should be taken into account.

According to lawyer Dmytro Solovyov, paying a fine in some cases can lead to negative consequences. He notes that voluntary payment does not always lead to the cancellation of the search because, in such cases, the conscript admits his violation.

“Paying a fine through “Rezerv+” does not guarantee the removal of the wanted person from the TCC. In many cases, it will reappear. Moreover, by deciding to pay the fine, you automatically confirm that you have committed a violation, and this should not be done,” the lawyer emphasized.

Dmytro Solovyov also reminded that, under Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Unified State Register of Conscripts”, the TCC must cancel the search if no protocols or resolutions have been drawn up regarding the conscript.
