Ціни на зв'язок зростають: "Київстар" підвищує тарифи на окремі послуги

Communication prices are rising: “Kyivstar” is raising tariffs for certain services

As of December 1, “Kyivstar” is rescheduling the terms for specific contract tariffs, as a result of which subscribers will have to pay more but will receive an expanded set of services.

As the operator notes on its website, the changes will affect “Calls for parents 2020” and “LOVE to parents” tariffs. The price of these tariff plans will already increase from the beginning of December.

New tariff regulation

Under the updated conditions, the “Calls for parents 2020” tariff will cost 150 hryvnias per month, while subscribers of the “LOVE to parents” tariff will pay 175 hryvnias per month.

The company emphasizes that expanded roaming capabilities accompany the cost increase. Thanks to Ukraine’s integration into the single roaming space with EU countries, these tariff plans will also work in countries that support the “Roaming as at home” principle. This will allow subscribers to use their services abroad under the same conditions as within the country.

Communication support during outages

Mobile operators in Ukraine have installed batteries and generators at base stations, allowing them to operate in standby mode for 6 to 10 hours, depending on the type of station and load.

“Kyivstar” reports that more than 241,000 batteries and more than 3,500 generators have already been installed at key facilities. During power outages, the mobile network load increases as many fixed Internet users switch to mobile, which, in turn, requires reinforcement of backup power to prevent rapid battery discharge.
