New gas bill: Owners of stoves and boilers may face additional costs

Gas consumers in Ukraine are required to promptly pay for the fuel used and its transportation. They also receive regular bills for gas network maintenance.

Sometimes users may receive a so-called “fourth” payment. Specialists of the Gazmerezhi company explain that this applies to those who use gas stoves and boilers.

Experts emphasize that ordinary consumers should monitor the regular maintenance of their gas appliances. Neglecting this can lead to serious accidents, even due to minor malfunctions.

Maintenance is carried out at the consumer’s request, so an invoice is generated only for a voluntary service order.

The price of a package service for a boiler and gas stove is 1,500 hryvnias, and separate furnace maintenance costs 360 hryvnias. A service application can be left at Gazmerezhi’s customer service centers.

Experts emphasize that regular maintenance is not a formality, but a guarantee of safety, stable equipment operation, and resource conservation.

Earlier, it was reported that hefty fines could be imposed on Naftogaz gas meter owners. Also, Ukrainians can expect new gas payments by the end of the year. Utility bills are already shocking with new figures, and there is a possibility that the cost of some services will increase in the near future.
