The real “Novorossiya” instead of 50 km in Donbas: expert noted that the US does not realize Putin’s demands

In his blog, the expert shared his thoughts on the situation in Ukraine and international negotiations. He noted that some political figures in Ukraine, in particular Arestovych, glorified the past, when, in their opinion, the best conditions existed for concluding peace, particularly during the negotiations in Istanbul in 2022. However, the expert believes this is not true, citing Trump’s statement that, on February 28, there were favorable conditions for resolving the conflict, but Ukraine refused at that time.

The expert questions where these better conditions actually were. He gives the example of a meeting in Saudi Arabia, at which the American politicians present undertook to end military actions with Russia. However, according to him, if the circumstances were really the best, then why has the agreement not been concluded yet? “It was you who could not agree, not us. You did not fulfill your obligations,” the expert noted.

At the same time, he draws attention to the fact that Putin, during his speech in India, clearly stated his disagreement with the points of the US peace plan and Russia’s intention to liberate Donbas and “Novorossiya” by any means. This confirms his opinion that Putin does not intend to limit himself to negotiations regarding only part of the territories, but wants to liberate all four regions, which raises questions about the US position in this process.

In conclusion, the expert emphasized: “What is the use of the US in negotiations if the situation remains unchanged?” – questioning the appropriateness of American intervention in the process of resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
