Khrystyna Soloviy announced a new album with collaborations on the theme of the Ukrainian 90s

Singer Khrystyna Soloviy announced a collaboration with Iryna Bilyk in the form of a cover of the song “François” from the famous album “Tak Prosto” from 1996. This track will be part of Soloviy’s new album, inspired by 90s music.

In addition to collaborating with Bilyk, Khrystyna also plans to collaborate with artists such as El Kravchuk and Mertvyi Piven.

Previously, Soloviy fulfilled her long-standing dream by performing alongside Bilyk on the same stage at the V’YAVA gallery in Kyiv. During Bilyk’s solo concert, Khrystyna performed the song “And I’m Swimming” with her and shared touching moments of the performance, noting that it was a great honor for her.

In her interviews, Khrystyna admitted that since childhood, she had been influenced by the music of Iryna Bilyk, who inspired her to pursue a singing career. In March of this year, at one of the concerts, she performed “And I Swim” for the first time with Bilyk’s permission.

Khrystyna Solovy is a Ukrainian singer and songwriter of Lemko origin, born on January 17, 1993, in Drohobych. She gained popularity after participating in the show “Voice of the Country” in 2013. Her style combines folk, pop, and ethnic motifs. Solovy’s notable albums are “Living Water” (2015) and “Dear Friend” (2018). In addition to music, Khrystyna actively supports Ukrainian culture and is known for her massive contribution to the development of the Ukrainian music scene.

Iryna Bilyk, in turn, is a landmark figure in Ukrainian show business. Born on March 6, 1970, in Kyiv, she gained popularity in the 90s with the album “Tak Prosto”. She began her career with VIA “Lileya” and became one of the country’s most famous pop stars.
