Mobilization from January 1: which of the men will get rid of their armor

The government is once again making changes that affect booking rules before the New Year holidays. Lawyer Roman Simutin notes that some servicemen may lose their armor due to a minor software error.

According to the lawyer, during each rebooking period, new rules arise, leading some conscripts to receive reservations and others not. As a result, those who were not booked may immediately find themselves wanted, and a significant part of them will later be mobilized.

Simutin noted that by January 1, 2026, all enterprises are obliged to create electronic offices for keeping conscript records, through which conscripts will be registered. The government calls it “personal accounting registers”. The new accounting software product has flaws and has not been sufficiently tested, which could lead to problems and crashes after launch.

For example, the lawyer cited the “Rezerv+” system, which does not always display users’ photos due to the large volume of data. The system is updated gradually to avoid overloading the servers. According to Simutin, if there are failures in this system, it is impossible to guarantee the stability of the reservation.

This chaos can result in the person who received the reservation being removed from it and unable to rebook it. At the same time, summonses can be sent to unbooked persons, they can be declared wanted through the TCC, or mobilization orders can be issued in the presence of medical commissions.

The latest news shows that even the presence of deferments or armor does not guarantee safety for conscripts, and the TCC gave the men only 7 days to respond to the changes.
