Ice froze the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway, the cargo remained trapped

One of the key state highways of Ukraine – M-06 Kyiv – Chop – has become the object of a grave scandal. As a result of improper maintenance of the road surface, the highway became a dangerous zone, leading to numerous accidents and transport collapses.

This road, which is essential for the logistics of humanitarian goods and military supplies, is now in a critically unsatisfactory condition.

Drivers note that a large portion of the road surface is covered with a thick layer of ice, making safe passage almost impossible.

Eyewitnesses report that cars lose control even at low speeds, and vehicles go off the road. Numerous traffic accidents were recorded across many sections of the route, leading to traffic blockages, including trucks carrying essential deliveries.

To date, there have been no official comments from the relevant departments about why the road is not being treated with reagents. Motorists are advised to avoid traveling on this route until weather conditions improve or road services actually intervene.

Along with general criticism, there are also specific remarks about the leadership of the Recovery Agency in the public space. Some public organizations associate the current management approaches with the activities of the first deputy head of the agency, Mykola Boyk, and the personnel decisions of Oleksiy Kuleba.
