Weather forecast in Ukraine for January 20: cold, fog and dangerous roads
No significant precipitation is expected in Ukraine tomorrow, but fog can significantly reduce visibility at night and in the morning in the west, north, and Vinnytsia region.
Ice will remain on most roads, and the wind will be weak – 3-8 m/s, mainly from the northwest. This information was made public by the Ukrhydrometeorological center.

North and West: These regions experience the coldest. At night, the temperature will be -12…-17°; in some areas, frost up to -20° is possible. –6…-11° is forecast during the day.
Vinnytsia region: Night frosts will be at the level of -12…-17°, daytime temperatures are around -6…-11°.
South and Transcarpathia: The winter here is milder – at night, the temperature will be -8…-13°, and during the day, it will range from 0 to -5°.
Weather in Kyiv and the region: In the capital, Tuesday will be dry, but there may be night fog.
Kyiv: At night, the temperature will be -12…-14°; during the day, it will rise to -8…-10°.
Kyiv region: At night it can be -12…-17°, during the day the thermometers will show -6…-11°.
There are icy patches on roads in the Kyiv region, so drivers are advised to drive carefully and maintain a safe distance.
Monday, January 19, will bring significant cooling and persistent frosty weather.
During the day, you should expect temperatures between -9 and -14ºC; in the southern regions, they will be slightly higher.
“In the southern regions, the temperature will rise by several degrees, but the frost will be felt, even in the Crimea. The weather will be frosty, but it will include rain-free days and occasional sunshine,” the forecaster said.
