Potato and meat pie: easy, tasty and filling, recipe

This recipe for a delicious potato and meat pie impresses with its simplicity and minimal ingredients, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate ease of preparation and excellent taste.

To prepare the pie, you will need the following products:

new potatoes – 0.5 kg;
2 eggs;
3 tbsp. spoons of sour cream;
chicken fillet;
champignons;
onion;
cheese for grating;
salt, pepper to taste.
Preparation

First, boil the new potatoes with their skins until cooked. If the skin is clean, you should not remove it – this preserves more taste and benefits.

After cooking, put the potatoes in a mold and mash them with a glass, forming a base with sides. This is important to prevent the filling from leaking out. Add salt, pepper, and spices to taste, then send the form to the oven preheated to 180° for 5-7 minutes to dry the base.

While the base is baking, prepare the filling. Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken fillet, mushrooms, and onions until golden brown.

When the potato base is ready, spread the filling evenly on it. Then mix 2 eggs with 3 tablespoons of sour cream until smooth, and pour the mixture over the filling to add moisture and flavor during baking.

The final accent will be a layer of grated cheese, adding tenderness and aroma. Return the pie to the oven for another 20 minutes at 180°, until a ruddy cheese crust forms.

The result is a wonderful pie – ruddy, fragrant, and hearty, which looks tempting when cut and tastes great!
