Essence triumphs over emotions: dispute between volunteer and soldier settled

Volunteer Zoya Shkurko and her neighbor confirmed the end of the public dispute, which caused widespread discussion in the media and social networks. After a personal meeting, they reached a mutual agreement, emphasizing the importance of unity in wartime because the real enemy is only the aggressor.

Zoya Shkurko reported that today she met with a man with whom she had previously had a conflict. According to her, during the conversation, it turned out that he is an active military serviceman who has been defending Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale aggression.

Mutual acquaintances and the commander of the military also took part in the conversation. Their help and support contributed to organizing the meeting and resolving the conflict.

“The conversation was not easy, because each of us was confident in our rightness against the backdrop of public resonance. Despite this, the main problem concerned the conflict, and not physical violence, as some media outlets sometimes portrayed,” the volunteer noted.

During the conversation, the soldier shared his experience at the front. Zoya noted that under different circumstances, their acquaintance could have developed into a friendship, and did not rule out that this could still happen in the future.

“The main enemy is Russia, and we must leave internal misunderstandings in the past. When communicating with the military, we must put aside anger and emotions, since the rear and the front exist in different realities,” she concluded.

Zoya expressed regret for the time and effort lost on both sides. She emphasized the importance of appreciating those who risk their lives for the country, instead of wasting energy on petty disputes.

In conclusion, the volunteer thanked everyone for their support and wished protection to the Ukrainian military, urging them to live with respect for one another and to bring a common victory closer.
