Valeriy Dubil: The case against Yulia Tymoshenko is falling apart at the court hearing
Formally substantiated accusations and fabricated evidence do not withstand criticism during the trial. This indicates the investigation’s political nature.
Deputy leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Valeriy Dubil, noted that the situation with the consideration of the case indicates its artificiality: “What we have been talking about from the very beginning is now becoming obvious. The investigation has actually admitted that there is no evidence of the transfer of funds.”
He also emphasized that the leader of Batkivshchyna, Yulia Tymoshenko, demonstrated that the indictment’s materials have no weight. An independent examination showed that the “tapes” provided by the NABU were collected with errors; therefore, they cannot be considered valid evidence.
“We are observing positive changes — the truth is finally starting to surface. We will not stop until this proceeding is completed and Yulia Tymoshenko’s name is restored,” Valeriy Dubil emphasized.
He also noted the significant support Yulia Tymoshenko received from many people who came to the court from across Ukraine. In his opinion, this unity and the groundlessness of the charges were the reasons for the first positive results, including the lifting of restrictions on the leader of the “Batkivshchyna” to move.
“We will continue our movement forward, because when you have the truth and strong support, justice is only a matter of time. It is worth fighting for the truth!” — summed up Valeriy Dubil.
