Ten finalists compete for the opportunity to represent Ukraine in Vienna

Today, February 7, 2026, the final of the National Selection for Eurovision 2026 is taking place in Ukraine. The broadcast is being held on Public Broadcasting in the format of a grand concert: the pre-show began at 18:00, and the main part started at 18:30. Ten participants will perform in the final. The winner will be determined by the jury’s vote (50%) and the audience via the “Diya” application and SMS (50%).

This year’s finalists include Jerry Heil with the song “Catharticus (Prayer)”, ШчукаРыба with the song “Моя земля”, as well as LAUD, LELÉKA, MOLODI, Monokate, Mr. Vel, The Elliens, and Valeriya Force. The ninth participant was selected through online voting. The slogan for this year’s National Selection is “Be Unique.” An important component of this competition is a charitable mission. During the final, funds will be raised for the Superhumans Center, which provides prosthetic assistance to veterans.

Timur Miroshnychenko and Lesya Nikityuk host the final. Miroshnychenko emphasized that this evening will be special because it marks the hosts’ first joint appearance on such a large-scale stage, promising a spectacular show with elements of grandiose performances.

The winner of the National Selection will represent Ukraine in Vienna (Austria) during the second semi-final of Eurovision, which will take place on May 12–16, 2026. The final will be broadcast on the “Social Culture” channel, the “Eurovision Ukraine” YouTube channel, and the website platforms of Social and Eurovision in Ukraine.

This year’s National Selection combines musical performances with social initiatives, calling on participants and viewers to show their individuality and support charitable projects.

The YUNA-2025 music award has identified the favorites, recognizing both well-known artists and new faces. Among the winners are MONATIK, Okean Elzy, as well as debutants Domiy and Parfeniuk, who became the main characters of this year’s YUNA performance, which took place in the capital.
