Кличко повідомив про отримання Києвом генераторів та зарядних станцій зі Словаччини

Klitschko announced that Kyiv received generators and charging stations from Slovakia

Kyiv has received a shipment of humanitarian aid from Slovakia, including 16 generators of varying capacities and 2 sets of charging stations. The Mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, announced this worthy initiative.

This batch of generators, worth about 166,000 euros, includes three powerful units (225 kW, 100 kW, and 63 kW) that will be transferred to schools in different districts of Kyiv.

Klitschko emphasized that in Slovakia, more than 1 million euros were collected through the “Heat for Ukraine” campaign, thanks to more than 19,500 donors.

“This campaign was launched on the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine in Slovakia in cooperation with the large Slovak fundraising platform Donio and ten public organizations. We have already collected about 1.1 million euros to help Ukrainian communities. Slovak partners are actively purchasing generators and charging stations, and we are sincerely grateful to them for this necessary contribution,” he said.

Vitaliy Klitschko also noted the importance of the solidarity of the Slovak people and the joint work of organizations such as Donio, Človek v orozneňí, Mier Ukrainie, Nadácia Integra, PostBellum SK, Nadácia Pontis, Ambrela, All4Ukraine, Nadácia otvorenej spoločnosť, Srdcom s Ukrainou, and ADRA.

We will remind you that after the massive shelling of Kyiv, Klitschko called on European countries to provide generators. As a result, the capital received more than 200 generators from Poland, 30 from France, and 500 from the EU strategic reserve, provided within the framework of the rescEU program.
