PrivatBank blocks transactions: clients suffer financial losses

PrivatBank clients are reporting difficulties in replenishing their cards through terminals. Users report that in the event of technical failures, funds may not be credited to the account, and the process of their return may be lengthy.

One of the reviews appeared on the “Minfin” portal, where the client described his situation regarding a malfunction of the terminal he tried to use to deposit money.

The man contacted PrivatBank support at 3700. The operator reported that the system had recorded an attempted deposit and that this was likely due to a technical delay. The user was advised to wait.

Soon after, he received an SMS confirming that his application for a refund had been accepted. It was indicated that processing would take 1 to 7 days. However, the next day, the client learned that the funds were not found during the check.

The bank’s response stated that the technical failure was not confirmed. If the client disagreed with this, he was advised to contact the hotline or use the online chat again.

The man contacted support again and learned that an additional investigation had been launched into his uncredited funds. The employees assured him that the case had been confirmed at work, and if necessary, the camera recordings could be checked.

Thus, the refund process is being delayed, and at the time of publishing the review, the man had not received a final resolution to the situation.

It is worth recalling that earlier Ukrainians drew attention to service problems at other banks, such as Oschadbank, where there were also complaints about hidden fees.
