Pensioners will be paid additional amounts from 300 to 1038 UAH: who will be able to receive “bonus” funds
In Ukraine, in accordance with current legislation, new additional payments have been introduced for pensioners. As the Pension Fund notes, this concerns the automatic increase in pensions for older people through age allowances and other forms of financial support.
Additional payments will be received by pensioners who have reached the age of 70, 75, or 80. Please note that the right to these allowances is granted to citizens whose monthly pension does not exceed UAH 10,340.35. This amount was established based on the average salary for 2020 and is not subject to revision at the moment.
In 2026, the amount of allowances will be:
for pensioners aged 70-74 – up to UAH 300 per month;
for pensioners aged 75-79 – up to UAH 456;
for persons aged 80 and over – up to UAH 570.
Pension indexation in March
In addition to age-related increases, a general indexation of pensions is planned for March 2026, affecting most pensioners. This recalculation results in an increase of 12.1%, which exceeds last year’s inflation rate by almost 4%. The new pension amounts will come into force on March 1.
Additional assistance for pensioners over 80
Citizens who have already reached the age of 80 will receive additional financial support. The amount of this payment will be 40% of the subsistence minimum for non-working persons, which, from January 1, 2026, is UAH 1,038.
