Bill Gates apologizes for communicating with Jeffrey Epstein and admits cheating on his wife

Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, apologized for his interaction with Jeffrey Epstein and admitted to cheating on his wife. The Wall Street Journal reported this.

Gates admitted that he had relationships with two women from Russia. He noted that Epstein knew about these novels, but was not their victim. One of the women the entrepreneur met at a bridge tournament, and the other was through work, she was a physicist.

Gates emphasized: “I did not do anything illegal and did not see anything illegal.” He also added that he did not spend time with women who were in Epstein’s close circle.

He admitted that it was a big mistake to communicate with Epstein and invite the heads of his foundation to meet with him. “I apologize to those who suffered because of my mistake,” said the businesswoman.

Gates said he began dating Epstein in 2011, after he was convicted of crimes involving minors.

He knew about Epstein’s travel restrictions but did not check the details of his past. Gates continued to communicate even after his then-wife, Melinda, raised concerns in 2013. “It’s worth noting that she was always skeptical about Epstein,” he added.

Gates confirmed that he flew with Epstein on a private jet and that their meetings took place in Germany, France, New York, and Washington. However, he stressed that he had never visited Epstein’s island.

Recently, emails mentioning Gates were found in the Epstein file, along with photos of the businessman with women whose faces were covered. Gates said that these pictures were taken at Epstein’s request.

The businessman also expressed concern that his decisions were negatively affecting the Gates Foundation’s activities, as its reputation is very important to the charitable organization.

It was previously reported that around 2010, Gates had an affair with a Russian bridge player, who was about 20 years old at the time. Epstein, having met her in 2013, paid for her education at a programming school and, in 2017, asked Gates to reimburse the expense. There is speculation that Epstein could have used Gates’ personal information to pressure him.
