Pension allowance up to 2,595 hryvnias: who can get a raise in March

In his recent interview, the Minister of Social Policy, Denys Ulyutin, said that a pension recalculation is planned using an individual formula for each pensioner.

According to new cases, the planned indexation of pensions in March will affect most beneficiaries. In 2026, the maximum amount of this increase will be 2,595 hryvnias.

The number of supplements will be determined based on the actual pension and insurance experience. At the same time, the state introduced certain financial restrictions for the spring increase. According to preliminary data, even in the smallest case, the surcharge will amount to at least 100 hryvnias, while the maximum indexation limit will remain at 2,595 hryvnias.

The March increase will also affect minimum pensions. For non-working pensioners, this amount will increase from UAH 3,038 to UAH 3,406, as part of the general correction to social support.

It is worth noting that the maximum payment in Ukraine remains up to 10 subsistence minimums for persons who have lost their ability to work, amounting to 25,950 hryvnias. At the same time, this restriction does not apply to military personnel, whose pensions when appointed during the Russian aggression are regulated by a separate law.
