Pensioners will have to return funds to the state: PFU warned everyone
Pensioners of Ukraine must promptly notify of any changes in their data, as otherwise there may be difficulties in receiving pensions. In the event of overpayment, the funds must be returned to the state.
The Main Department of the Pension Fund of the Kherson Region reported this.
The department emphasizes that all recipients of pensions and social payments must inform the Pension Fund of any changes in their personal data. This applies, in particular:
change of surname;
change of place of residence;
updating of documents confirming the person’s identity (passport, taxpayer code).
In addition, it is important to report changes in employment status. Pensioners must inform the Pension Fund of hiring or firing, as well as of registering or closing a business.
Deadline – 10 days
PFC representatives remind that information must be submitted within 10 calendar days of the changes becoming relevant. Violation of this deadline may lead to financial difficulties.
Insufficient or delayed notification may result in both overpayment and underpayment of pensions. If, due to outdated information, a pensioner has been awarded excessive payments, those payments must be returned.
Earlier, the portal reported that pensioners can receive two types of payments: one type will receive a larger amount. It was also indicated that, for some Ukrainians, the conditions for retirement have been simplified: which requirements have been approved?
