Kyiv sent over 3,000 drones for fighters of the 225th separate assault regiment, – Klitschko
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced a new shipment of aid for service members to the front. This time, the 225th Separate Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received almost 3,100 drones of various types, including 3,000 FPV drones, 90 Matrice drones, and 5 Leleka UAVs. In addition, the defenders received 20 ground robotic complexes.
Klitschko emphasized that since the beginning of the year, Kyiv has allocated 100 million hryvnias to support the 225th Regiment, which is used to provide the necessary resources. He also recalled that last week, Kyiv transferred 1,300 drones to the fighters of the 5th Separate Assault Kyiv Brigade.
“The city will continue to support all our defenders. Glory to Ukraine and its heroes!” — the mayor emphasized.
It was previously reported that last year, the capital’s community transferred almost 70,000 drones, 350 electronic warfare systems, cars, and other important equipment to the front.
