Pension rates for PrivatBank cards: what they offer pensioners

Ukrainian pensioners can receive payments directly to their bank cards. PrivatBank has introduced favorable service conditions for these clients, including reduced commissions and free services.

Making a pension card allows you to receive funds without having to visit post offices or stand in queues. The bank credits pension payments on the same day that funding is received from the Pension Fund.

One of the main advantages is the wide network of PrivatBank branches and ATMs, which allows pensioners to withdraw cash and conduct financial transactions at any time and in any location.

The process of issuing a pension card is quick – usually, one visit to the branch is enough. Bank employees will help prepare the necessary documents to transfer the pension to the card account. The validity period of such a card is four years.

Tariffs and benefits

According to the bank, issuing a card for pension payments, in particular the GOLD card, is free of charge. However, a fee of 100 hryvnia may be charged if six cards are issued within a year.

Pensioners are entitled to the following financial benefits:

no commission when crediting a pension;
free cash withdrawals at ATMs throughout Ukraine;
payment of utility services through “Privat24” without commissions for card payments for payments up to 5,000 hryvnias – no more than 15 transactions per month.
The bank has also set a limit on cash withdrawals at its ATMs – up to 20,000 hryvnias within 3 hours. Earlier, it was reported about new rules for money transfers at PrivatBank, which will soon come into force, as well as the possibility of receiving payments to a card of up to 15,000 hryvnias.

In addition, possible shortcomings associated with customer errors, for which the bank may charge additional fees, have already been highlighted.
