Anticyclone brings cooling: where in Ukraine on March 18 you should expect rain with sleet and nighttime “minuses”
Wednesday brings a change in weather conditions in Ukraine, as an anticyclone will bring a drop in temperatures. At the same time, an area of low pressure will remain at altitude, which will lead to cloudiness and possible light precipitation.
According to meteorologists, an increase in surface atmospheric pressure is expected on March 18. This will lead to the anticyclone from the north spreading into Ukraine.
In the upper layers of the atmosphere, as before, a low-pressure area will remain, moving from the Black Sea. This combination of factors will form cloudy weather and slight precipitation.
At night, rain with sleet is possible on the Left Bank, but significant precipitation is not expected in most regions during the day.
The wind will be northeasterly at 5-10 m/s.
The air temperature will vary:
at night – from +3 to -2 ° С,
in the daytime – within the range of +4…+9 ° С.
The highest temperatures are forecast in Transcarpathia, where the thermometer will rise to +10…+15 °C. In the southeastern regions, the temperature at night will be +1…+6 °C, and during the day, +7…+12 °C.
Weather in Kyiv and the region
Clouds without precipitation are expected in Kyiv and the Kyiv region on March 18. The wind will also be northeasterly, 5-10 m/s.
The temperature in the Kyiv region at night will fluctuate between -2 and +3 °C, and during the day, between +4 and +9 °C. In the capital, 0…+2 °C is forecast at night, and during the day, +5…+7 °C.
Meteorologists note that after the warm first half of March, the weather will become cooler for some time, but without sharp temperature fluctuations.
