НБУ запроваджує платіжну систему на BankID: дати і вартість

NBU introduces BankID payment system: dates and cost

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has announced the introduction of paid services in the BankID system, which previously worked free of charge for users during the war. The changes will come into effect on June 24, 2026, as reported by Olga Vasilyeva, Deputy Director of the Payment Systems Department.

According to the new terms, connecting to the BankID system will be paid: for identifiers – 21.6 thousand hryvnias, and for service providers – 16.8 thousand hryvnias. Additional nodes or web portals will require another 12 thousand hryvnias.

In addition, a fee of 30 kopecks will be introduced for each successful electronic identification. The NBU is partially monetizing the service, which is actively used to access government and commercial services. However, the regulator will not yet introduce a monthly subscription fee for the service. Tariffs between subscribers have also been revised – they have been halved, and the cost of one operation, depending on the volume of data transferred, will be 2, 4, 7 or 9 hryvnias.

Today, 38 banks are connected to the BankID system, which allows identifying almost all individuals, which is about 99.9% of clients of the banking system of Ukraine. The system also involves 112 organizations that provide various services to users.

The NBU continues to develop the system, expanding the range of its participants. From now on, not only banks, but also non-bank payment institutions will be able to perform the roles of identifiers. For example, the company NovaPay (LLC “NovaPay”) has already applied for connection, which will provide its clients with access to a large number of state and commercial services via BankID.
