Чому Хаменеї вдається вирватися з бункера, а Путіну ні? - Михайло Шейтельман про ситуацію

Trump and Putin have similar reputations – trust in them, to put it mildly, is zero – Mikhail Sheitelman on assurances of non-aggression

This became known from the expert’s blog.

Well-known analyst Mikhail Sheitelman noted that attempts to hold peace talks with Iran are probably aimed only at making money for the Trump family. He claims that the former US president makes contradictory statements in order to profitably sell oil futures.

Sheitelman also shared information with the Financial Times, which indicates suspicious transactions by oil traders worth hundreds of millions of dollars that took place a few minutes before Trump announced negotiations with Iran. After this statement, the price of oil fell sharply, and stock indices rose.

But the situation changed after Iran denied information about the negotiations, which caused a decrease in stock indices and an increase in oil prices. This, according to the expert, indicates that someone was able to make money on this.

Sheitelman also comments on Iran’s position in the negotiations with the US, emphasizing that Tehran demands clear guarantees of non-aggression. He notes that Trump does not have the authority to give such guarantees, as the level of trust in him and his Russian counterpart Putin is very low.

This situation raises serious questions about trust between countries and the possibility of achieving real peace in the region.
