Control over lawlessness is planned to be strengthened: tracking every step of the CCC
In Odessa, a former soldier of the 28th brigade was seriously injured during an attempted forced mobilization. The veteran community expressed a desire to create a supervisory board to monitor the work of territorial recruitment centers (TCK). This was reported by former serviceman Denys Yevrey on social networks.
The incident occurred on the evening of March 16 on Kostandi Street. The man, who has a group III disability as a result of an injury, was walking his dog near his house when a minibus drove up to him. People in uniform got out of it, some of whom were wearing balaclavas. The conflict arose after one of them refused to show his ID and face.
Veteran Gennady Tsepyuk said that he immediately warned about his health problems – he has difficulty moving and has a titanium implant in his leg. Despite this, people in military uniform tried to force him into the car. The resistance resulted in a scuffle, resulting in the man’s arm being broken, after which he was pushed into a minibus and thrown to the floor.
Lawyers from the defense union have already joined the case and intend to hold those who caused serious bodily harm accountable. The veterans’ community also proposes creating a special oversight body to ensure the proper functioning of the CCC and improve cooperation with the military.
