Up to 15,000 hryvnias: which Ukrainians are eligible for state assistance this spring, the program has already started
Ukrainian entrepreneurs who suffered losses due to blackouts can receive state financial support of up to 15,000 hryvnias for their business.
The program “Energy Support for Individual Entrepreneurs” has been updated to expand its capabilities and help more companies, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported.
One of the most important innovations is that the deadline for submitting applications has been extended to May 31, 2026. The list of industries that can apply for support has also been expanded.
The new categories that will receive assistance include food industry enterprises (for example, milk processing, confectionery production), water supply companies, building materials stores, sporting goods, as well as flower shops and animal feed sellers. It has also been indicated that firms that provide additional services in the field of education can now receive support.
Support can be received by entrepreneurs of the second and third groups of the single tax, who registered before December 1, 2025, who have at least one officially employed employee and do not have arrears in paying the single social contribution.
The amount of assistance is determined by the number of employees and ranges from 7,500 to 15,000 hryvnias. The funds can be used to purchase generators, batteries, solar panels, fuel, pay for electricity or repair equipment.
You can apply online through the “Energopoddrymka” platform or through the “Diya” portal. As of March 12, 2026, the state has already paid 380 million hryvnias to 38 thousand entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Economy emphasizes.
