Violated the ban before Eurovision: Ukrainian representative LELÉKA did it secretly

Singer LELÉKA, who represents Ukraine at Eurovision 2026, has already attracted public attention even before her appearance on the international stage, and not only thanks to her competition song.

In an interview, the artist revealed that despite the ban from the team, she decided to take the opportunity to ride the subway, which none of her team knows about.

“I went down the subway several times. My team forbade me to do so, but I looked at the floor, so no one recognized me,” LELÉKA noted.

Although the singer became the winner of the National Selection, she still does not feel popular on the streets of the city. Her schedule is filled with meetings and Zoom calls, which makes it impossible to even take a simple walk to check her recognition. “I am constantly on the move, so I have no way to see if people recognize me,” she added.

The artist herself is trying to escape from her busy schedule a little, even if it means a small violation of the rules. In May, LELÉKA will perform for Ukraine at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna with the song “Ridnym”. Regarding the ordinal number of the performance, they are still keeping the intrigue.
