Mobilization is being reformed: the People’s Deputy announced two key innovations

In April, the Ministry of Defense plans to present new initiatives related to changes in the mobilization system. The main goal of such changes is to increase the transparency of this process and reduce social tension.

According to deputy Fedor Venislavsky, who is a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, everything being prepared by the Ministry of Defense headed by Mikhail Fedorov will certainly be presented to the committee this month.

Venislavsky emphasized that the main tasks are to reduce tension between military commissariats and citizens, as well as eliminate the feeling of inequality in society in matters of conscription.

In particular, the deputy drew attention to the fact that sending summonses via digital platforms, such as the “Diya” application, is not considered an optimal solution. Although during previous discussions in 2024, this option was considered, but was rejected, and now the position has remained unchanged.

Currently, electronic systems such as “Reserve+” and personal accounts of conscripts are operating in Ukraine, where you can get the necessary information, but classic paper summonses will remain in use.

Ways to reduce conflicts around military commissariats

Discussing tense situations between CCC employees and conscripts, the deputy noted that it is unlikely to be possible to completely avoid conflicts. Often, the causes of such cases are deliberate provocations.

It is also worth noting that many employees of territorial recruiting centers are military personnel who have returned from the combat zone. This can increase the emotional background in difficult situations.

One of the main steps to reduce incidents will be the introduction of mandatory use of chest cameras to record the delivery of summonses, which in the event of disputed cases will allow establishing the real circumstances.

In addition, it is planned to hold accountable those CCC employees who exceed their powers or violate the rights of citizens.

An important part of the process will also be the implementation of explanatory work both within the Land Forces command system and in society. All this, according to Venislavsky, should significantly reduce the number of conflicts and increase trust in mobilization processes.

It is expected that the first results will be presented in the near future.
