Pensioners will be paid from 214 to 588 UAH: who will receive increased payments?

Since April 1, Ukraine has had an automatic recalculation of pensions for those citizens who continue to work after retirement. The renewal of payments took place without the need to contact the Pension Fund.

According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the recalculation was carried out for working pensioners throughout the country. Those who had at least 24 months of insurance experience after the appointment of a pension or its previous recalculation as of March 1, 2026 were entitled to an increase. An increase was also granted if at least two years had passed since the last revision of payments.

For example, in the Donetsk region, pensions were recalculated for about 27.9 thousand people. Already in April, about 14.7 thousand pensioners will receive new increased payments.

Among them, more than 12 thousand people received an additional allowance of an average of 214 hryvnias due to the new length of service, and about 2.5 thousand pensioners will have higher increases – approximately 588 hryvnias, since the recalculation already took into account new salary data.

The Pension Fund noted that the most favorable recalculation option was chosen for each pensioner – either taking into account only new length of service, or simultaneously reviewing both length of service and income.

Ukrainians will begin to receive updated pensions in April, according to the payment schedule.
