The Rolling Stones are back: sources reveal details of new album

The Rolling Stones are preparing to release their 25th studio album, as well as a new music video, which may feature American actress Odessa A’Zion.

According to the Daily Mail, the video has already been filmed during a two-day private session at Battersea Arts Centre in south London. The project continues the band’s tradition of bringing in young talent, as they did with actress Sydney Sweeney in the video for the song Angry.

The new album is tentatively titled Foreign Tongues, and the first single is likely to be called Mr Charm and is due to be released soon, possibly on Saturday.

It has also been reported that the band is temporarily using the name The Cockroaches, which is a nod to their early private gigs.

The concept of the new video involves a combination of different musical genres and cultural eras – elements of blues, punk, classic rock and dance cultures may appear in the footage. Odessa A’Zion, according to sources, plays one of the main roles in the video.

The preparation of the album, which may be one of the last in the band’s career, is already causing considerable interest in the music community. Although the band members do not confirm these rumors, it is known that some of the material was recorded while working on the Hackney Diamonds album, which was released in 2023. Some recordings of the late drummer Charlie Watts may also be included in the new release.

The band is not currently planning a full-fledged world tour, but is considering the possibility of holding individual promotional performances. The Rolling Stones, who began their career in the 1960s, have already played over 2,000 concerts and remain one of the most influential rock bands in history, so their new comeback is already causing a lot of excitement among fans around the world.
