NATO is a dead body, and Trump is its undertaker”: Sheitelman on the air Vlaschenko voiced the idea of ”Ukrainian Shield”
While Donald Trump is preparing a final blow to NATO, the old leadership of the Alliance admits to conducting secret negotiations with the Kremlin. Ukraine, meanwhile, is taking on the task of creating its own security system in Europe. On the agenda are questions: who will become the new guarantor of security, why does Lukashenko need American weight loss products, and what significance can Durov’s “digital resistance” have for changes in Russia.
Conspiracies and the decline of NATO
During the discussion, Natalia Vlashchenko became interested in the prospect of the US withdrawing from NATO. Mikhail Sheitelman spoke out very decisively: Trump has not yet fully unleashed his “madness”, and the withdrawal or a significant reduction in the American presence in Europe is only a matter of time.
“Trump is a gravedigger, he is hammering the final nail into the coffin lid of an organization that has already demonstrated its inability,” the expert emphasized live.
The discussion of Jens Stoltenberg’s memoirs was shocking. Scheitelman recalled that the former NATO Secretary General openly stated that in 2021 he had proposed to Lavrov to withdraw the Alliance’s troops from Poland and the Baltic states. According to the expert, this admission undermines faith in the “5th article” on collective defense.
Ukraine as a new security center: “NATO 2.0”
Discussing Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent statement about a possible reduction in missile supplies for Patriot systems, Scheitelman noted that Ukraine is actively looking for alternatives, and not just waiting. He emphasized that Kyiv is already testing new air defense systems together with French partners, demonstrating their effectiveness on Russian missiles.
“We are creating our own security umbrella over Europe without the participation of the United States. Technologically, Ukraine will play a key role in this process,” Scheitelman noted.
The expert added that Ukraine is becoming the center of a new security format — “NATO 2.0,” where our military technologies and combat experience will ensure the protection of European countries, including Estonia, which has already turned to us for guarantees.
Diplomacy through messages and the “new” Lukashenko
There were some oddities. Sheitelman pointed out the change in Alexander Lukashenko’s appearance, noting that he had lost 40 kilograms thanks to drugs smuggled from the United States. Now the “updated” Lukashenko is trying to give advice to Trump and hopes to get into a new format of dialogue that the United States can create instead of the UN.
In addition, the participants discussed “SMS diplomacy” between Trump’s entourage and Iran. Sheitelman ironically noted that while official channels are silent, negotiations are taking place in messengers, and Trump’s main goal is to manage to receive another award in Israel.
