Military calls for rotation of patrol police officers at the front

The readiness of law enforcement officers to act in critical situations is extremely important, especially in wartime. Denys Yaroslavsky, an officer of the command of the assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an interview with the KYIV24 TV channel, emphasized that the systematic rotation of personnel between the rear and front-line areas will be an important step in increasing the efficiency of police work.

According to him, such measures will allow preparing employees for any challenges and will contribute to improving their professional skills. Yaroslavsky noted that police officers working in calm regions should have the opportunity to serve in areas where hostilities are ongoing. This will not only increase their resilience, but also provide them with valuable combat experience that they can share with their colleagues. This is especially true for those who already have training in rifle battalions and the appropriate skills for operational work.

Denys Yaroslavsky also emphasized the need for regular briefings for police personnel. He believes that such training should include clear recommendations on how to respond to emergencies, such as terrorist attacks or other crisis situations. According to him, during the tragedy of April 18 in Kyiv, it became obvious that the police were not ready for critical circumstances.

In the context of recent events, in particular, the question of responsibility and professionalism of law enforcement officers arises. Recall that during the terrorist attack in the capital on April 18, the police were accused of improperly performing their duties and avoiding active actions.

It is worth noting that the media also discussed new contracts for young people in military units, changes in utility tariffs for Ukrainians, as well as increased patrols by the police and the military.
