Zara and other brands resume operations at Gulliver after a long hiatus
Inditex stores are reopening in the heart of Kyiv. The first to open is Massimo Dutti on April 23, 2026, with other brands set to follow.
The Spanish group Inditex is returning to the Gulliver shopping mall in Kyiv, where stores have been closed since late October 2025 due to legal disputes that have led to a decline in footfall.
Massimo Dutti will be the first to reopen on April 23, 2026, followed by other brands such as Bershka, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Oysho and Zara Home.
This move is the result of lengthy negotiations between the mall owners and Inditex and LPP. These companies are the main sources of visitors for large shopping malls.
Market experts consider the return of the brands an important signal of positive trends. UTG Director Yevgenia Loktionova emphasized that this is evidence of the results of an international audit that confirmed the safety of cooperation.
The resumption of work of key tenants is of great importance for the Gulliver shopping center, which was recently put up for sale. This aspect increases its investment attractiveness and consolidates the trust of other brands.
The return of Inditex is also significant for residents of the capital – many Kyiv residents are used to shopping in the city center. It is expected that the restoration of stores will help restore the center’s former attendance.
In addition, the activities of other areas of the shopping center, in particular gastronomic and service, will be affected by an increase in the flow of customers, which will have a positive effect on their work.
It also recently became known that Spotify is celebrating 20 years since its founding in Sweden, having gone from a startup to one of the leaders in global streaming, changing the way music is listened to.
