Steel and honor: Major General Pavlo Yatsyuk awarded the fighters of the Omega special unit

Recently, an important ceremony was held at the Omega Special Purpose Center, where military personnel demonstrating their professionalism in the most difficult front areas received well-deserved awards. Each valuable award is the result of their bravery and effort in operations that are rarely mentioned in the news.

Honoring heroism: awards from orders to special weapons

Major General Pavlo Yatsyuk, head of the Center, personally honored the fighters, presenting them with state and departmental awards. A special event was the presentation of prize weapons, which ten servicemen received. This is a symbolic gesture of recognition of their professionalism.

Among the awarded was also a defender, who was awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree. This award symbolizes his personal courage and self-sacrifice in defense of the country.

Awards from the National Guard of Ukraine

Eight servicemen were presented with awards from the National Guard of Ukraine confirming their contribution:

Two of them received thanks from NSU, and one received an honorary certificate.
Two special forces were awarded the badge “For valorous service” and the award of the commander of the NSU “For valor”.
Three soldiers received valuable prizes – tactical watches “Timer”, which will be useful in their practice.
Major General Yatsyuk thanked all the soldiers for their loyalty to the oath, stressing that the high professionalism of everyone is the key to the successful work of the entire unit.
