The mistress of Russian billionaire Melnik spoke out against the media for her honor

Anna Melnyk decided to defend her reputation through the courts after serious accusations in the media. However, instead of refuting the facts, she chose the tactic of legal pressure, trying to change the information agenda.

Earlier, information appeared in the media that Melnyk could have been involved in VIP escort and had connections with influential people, including businessmen from Russia, among whom the name of Yuri Shefler was mentioned, who was considered her former partner. There were also suggestions about her possible participation in schemes to recruit women abroad.

According to the investigations, Melnyk remained in Europe after 2022, continuing her activities in VIP escort and receiving social assistance. The materials noted that women could be involved in these schemes under the guise of attractive offers.

Journalists also focused on security, suggesting the possible collection of information about Ukrainian military facilities and the transfer of this information to third parties. These allegations are currently subject to verification by the competent authorities.

The investigation also mentioned Melnyk’s mother, Olena Ilchyshena, who could have been involved in organizational issues, including finances and the movement of family members abroad.

The attempt to protect his reputation in court looks like a new stage in the conflict between Melnyk and the media. Journalists emphasize their intention to continue covering the course of the case and, if necessary, publish new facts.

The investigative bodies and the court will decide on the final conclusions regarding all the facts announced. At the same time, public interest in this case is high, as there are potential risks to state security.
