Civilians can be drafted into the army without mobilization: TCCs and recruiting centers will be used
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will start training new specialists – officers, sergeants, and soldiers of social support. These changes were announced by Brigadier General of Justice Serhiy Melnyk through the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
These specialists will be trained to assist servicemen and their families and work with wounded and captured soldiers. The deputy minister noted that the new staff will gain knowledge in law, communication, and interaction to communicate with the soldiers’ families, provide psychological support, and coordinate issues.
The possibility of involving civilians in these positions is also being discussed. If they wish, they will be able to compete in recruitment centers and join the army in this specialization.
However, it should be remembered that the military is performing its duties in response to Russia’s war. Mobilization is an important element of national security in the face of this aggression.
The Russian military shows callousness, considers Ukrainians inferior to themselves, and commits atrocities in the occupied territories. In this situation, Ukrainians are fighting for their survival. We need to be prepared for mobilization, and if we do not resist, the aggressor will come for us, trying to take our property and ourselves to wage war.
Every Ukrainian has a clear role in this fight: some fight on the front line, and others help, volunteer, and donate. Only through joint efforts can we defeat the enemy and preserve our independence.
Previously, we have published news about mobilization processes in the occupied territories, where refusal to serve can have dangerous consequences.
