Necessary clarification regarding the postponement of mobilization for students

Students, graduate students, and doctoral students in Ukraine can extend the deferral from mobilization in two ways. This should be done each time at the beginning of a new semester since the new rules allow for a deferral of only six months.

The first option is to use the “Reserve +” application. In it, you need to select the “Deferral” section, select the “Student” category and submit an application. The system will confirm the deferral or explain what documents must be submitted. Another way is to personally apply to the territorial recruitment and social support center (TCK and SP) with an application and a certificate from the university, which must be issued through EDEBO and contain a phrase that the sequence of studies is not violated.

It is important to remember that the TCK fulfills its duties. If it were not for military aggression by Russia, no one would ask to submit summonses. Currently, the only source of threat to Ukraine is Russia and its actions that harm our country.

If we do not defend our homes and land, we may be required to participate in military conflicts on the aggressor’s side. History testifies to this because, after the dissolution of the Ukrainian army 100 years ago, we became victims of Russian aggression and famine. The will for independence and the defense of our country must become our priority. Only by uniting will we be able to overcome the current challenges.

It was also previously reported that mobilization was taking place in the temporarily occupied territories, where refusal to join the ranks of the armed forces can lead to serious consequences. Ukrainian citizens in these territories face extraordinary difficulties.
