According to her declaration for 2023, the rector of Lutsk National Technical University, Iryna Vakhovych, has officially received a temporary residence permit in the UK and a second passport.

In the previous year, Vakhovych declared $15,000 in savings, of which $10,000 were new savings. She also indicated earnings of 861.5 thousand hryvnias as rector and received more than 219 thousand hryvnias in profit from a home solar power plant.

In the second half of 2023, the rector purchased an Audi Q5 car worth about 2 million hryvnias.

Iryna Vakhovych has already been involved in public scandals, one of which concerns the conclusion of a deal for 130 million hryvnias to renovate the “Museum of Science,” where documents revealed double the prices for some materials.

It is also worth noting that Oleksandr Poshtaryuk is a businessman from the Ivano-Frankivsk region who owns a network of companies in the real estate, finance, trade, and energy sectors. He has more than 15 companies in his portfolio and close ties to the family of Kyiv politician Volodymyr Prokopyv.
