Men are given one last chance to resolve issues with the CCC remotely
In Ukraine, individuals subject to mobilization and who have not updated their military registration data risk facing serious problems, especially when applying for a deferment from conscription. Specialist Vyacheslav Kirda talks about the situation that happened to one Ukrainian and the recommendations of lawyers.
Formally recorded but not on the case file.
In particular, one man who had every reason to receive a deferment was unable to use it due to untimely information updating in the accounting systems, despite having a certificate of registration and completing the update procedure in the “Reserve +” system.
Lack of data in the “Oberig” registry
The main problem lies in outdated data in the “Oberig” registry, which records conscripts. Although the person is formally registered, he remains “invisible” to the CCC.
The specialist emphasizes that simply sending documents to the CCC and the SP is not enough. An official request to update the data in the specified register must be submitted.
The electronic document “e-void” is a new opportunity.
After updating the data in the system, an electronic document on military registration (e-vod) can be created, which is required to submit an application for deferment remotely.
This greatly simplifies the procedure: You do not need to personally visit the military registration and enlistment office; everything can be done online, provided that all the data in the system is up-to-date.
Recommendations from lawyers
Do not postpone updating your registration data—even if you already have one, check whether your data is in the “Oberig” register.
If you suspect a lack of up-to-date data, submit an official request to the CCC and the SP.
Follow the updates in “Rezerv+” and the electronic document “e-vod” – this data can be crucial in mobilization.
An error in the information can lead to serious consequences. If you plan to use a legal deferral, ensure the system reflects this information. Otherwise, you may only face formal denials.
