The Kremlin commented on Trump’s words regarding the agreements between Ukraine and Russia

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on US President Donald Trump’s suggestion of a peaceful resolution to the conflict with Ukraine. He confirmed Russia’s readiness to find ways to achieve a peaceful settlement.

According to TASS, Trump expressed hope on Sunday that Russia and Ukraine would be able to agree on a ceasefire as soon as possible.

In response, Peskov noted that Moscow reserves the right to continue seeking a peaceful resolution of the conflict and maintains contacts with the American side.

“I do not want to make any comments regarding the timing. President Putin and the Russian side remain open to finding a peaceful settlement and are working with the American side. We hope that this activity will bear fruit,” Peskov added.
