Tax evaders fleeing abroad receive bribes from Poles
Public figure and military officer Yevhen Karas expressed his opinion about men trying to leave Ukraine illegally during wartime. In a commentary for the channel “Power of Unmanned Systems,” he strongly condemned the evaders who, risking their lives, try to cross the border through rivers, mountains, and barbed wire.
Karas emphasized that these individuals seek to get to Warsaw only to later become victims of humiliation in the form of hard physical labor, outrageous treatment by employers, and loss of their dignity. According to him, the idea of an easy life abroad often does not coincide with reality, which is a betrayal of the country, which any circumstances cannot justify.
He also noted that those who remain in Ukraine make an essential contribution to the state’s defense, even if their activities are unrelated to front-line operations. They support the Ukrainian army through volunteer work or by restoring affected areas.
Karas stressed the importance of helping the country internally, instead of looking for easy ways abroad. He called on men to take responsibility for the fate of the state, instead of choosing humiliation and difficult working conditions abroad.
