Arestovych compared himself to Poroshenko and explained why he ended up under Zelensky’s sanctions
Oleksiy Arestovych spoke about the imposition of sanctions on him and Petro Poroshenko, noting that this indicates preparation for the upcoming presidential elections.
He emphasized that sanctions are used for illegal pressure to eliminate political competitors. Arestovych noted that such a point of view is already being discussed in European countries and the United States, although this is still unofficial information. However, he is confident that all events will be carefully documented and considered globally.
Arestovych also noted that when the elections begin, the authorities may face unforeseen challenges. He noted that the West’s reaction is not purely personal but concerns the very essence of the Ukrainian regime.
He is confident that the current Zelenskyy regime will remain accepted by the world community for some time due to its participation in geopolitical processes. At the moment, it is critically important for the international community to stop the war.
Ultimately, Arestovych warned that geopolitics can also have unforeseen consequences for the authorities, because it is a “double-edged sword.”
Recall that on May 1, 2025, Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the implementation of the NSDC decision, which stipulates sanctions against 76 individuals and 81 legal entities, including former advisor to the President’s Office, Oleksiy Arestovych.
