Russians are nervous about the parade because they fear possible strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on May 9 – Oleksandr Musienko

The presidents of Ukraine and Russia have become the center of attention in the context of the situation developing around the parade in Moscow. In his recent evening address on April 29, Volodymyr Zelensky expressed that the Russian leadership fears potential events during the holiday. Commenting on this statement, expert Oleksandr Musienko emphasized that Russians should beware, because there are many military targets in Moscow.

Musienko noted that the Russian capital contains critical military-industrial facilities, mainly military units and command posts, which are directly related to military operations during the conflict in Ukraine. He noted that these places, which serve as shelters for terrorists, are subject to attacks, similar to those previously carried out by Israel against the Hamas group.

The expert is convinced that the Ukrainians can distort the parade planned by Moscow and make the Kremlin leadership feel significant humiliation. In his opinion, Putin is well aware of the consequences that may arise from similar events, so he is trying to avoid them by proposing a unilateral ceasefire, which can hardly be considered genuine peace.

Musienko also mentioned the possible demands of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who may ask to erect a monument to him in Moscow in return for Russia’s assistance in the war.

Thus, the situation in and around Moscow continues to be tense, and the Ukrainian side’s actions can significantly change the course of events.
