On April 15, the State Film Agency of Ukraine agreed to receive a state subsidy of 16.53 million hryvnias for filming a new feature-length film – the spy comedy “Secret Service UA”. Information about this was published in European Pravda, referring to the tender documents in the Prozorro system and data from the State Film Agency.

The project is being implemented by the company “Kinomedia”, owned by Alla Malyarevych, the wife of the Kyiv City Council deputy from the “UDAR” party, Oles Malyarevych. He headed this company until 2021, and in 2022, went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the 92nd separate mechanized brigade.

What is known about the film?
Oleksandr Litvinenko was entrusted with the script and direction, and his brother Yevhen produced the project. The 110-minute film will tell the story of a high-IQ daughter of a secret agent who joins the UA Secret Service to complete her missing father’s mission and support Ukraine in its fight against Russian special services.

The project is funded with 20.66 million hryvnias, 80% of which the state covers. “UA Secret Service” is expected to be a comedy and a social satire reflecting the current realities of our time. The film is scheduled to premiere in late 2026.
