30 000 гривень – це найменша сума: українці отримають прибуток з кількох монет

30,000 hryvnias is the smallest amount: Ukrainians will make a profit from several coins

Ukrainians can get significant amounts for certain coins, and this applies not only to old copies. Collectors are even interested in newer, defective coins. The specialized resource Violity provides this information.

Coins that end up in wallets must be checked in detail, because there are cases when a bill or coin has a much higher value than its face value.

You can buy a 5 hryvnia coin of the 2019 issue at the auction for 30 thousand hryvnias. This is due to a rare element—there are six dots on the medallion on the reverse of the coin. The owner shows this coin at a fixed price without offering a discount.

In addition, a 10-kopeck coin from 1992 is also valued at the same 30 thousand hryvnias because its rarity means it is found in circulation less than once in 30 thousand.

Characteristic features can recognize rare variants of the 10-kopeck coin of 1992:

  • The middle tooth of the trident has a thickened upper part;
  • The date unit with a tail;
  • The straight upper parts of the letters “E” and “H”, and the lower parts are curved.

For the 4VAd variety of such a coin, an even higher amount is asked at auction – 50 thousand hryvnias.

In addition, one of the owners describes this rare coin as follows: “10 kopecks of 1992 ‘Englishwoman’, which were minted at the Luhansk plant with English stamps, are very valuable.”

Earlier, it became known that Ukrainians could find much more in their old reserves than they thought.
