Odessa deputies with large amounts of money in their accounts received UAH 190,000 for housing rent
This year, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada received 191.1 thousand hryvnias to cover housing or hotel expenses, particularly for representatives of the Odessa region. The specified amount is distributed between January and February, and, as it became known, several Odessa deputies took advantage of this opportunity.
In particular, in February, each deputy received 18.2 thousand hryvnias; in January, this amount for the majority was approximately 20 thousand hryvnias. The list of recipients includes:
- Serhiy Koleboshyn
- Oleksiy Leonov
- Oleh Kolev
- Mykola Skoryk
- Oleksandr Tkachenko
This funding is intended for deputies who do not have housing in Kyiv and also live more than 30 km from the capital, in accordance with Article 35 of the Law “On the Status of a People’s Deputy of Ukraine.”
In addition, analysts of the Center for Public Investigations examined the declarations of deputies and their families and reached interesting conclusions. The famous screenwriter Mykola Skoryk declared over 3 million hryvnias in 2024, which significantly exceeded the income of his colleagues.
The family of Oleksiy Honcharenko was the leader in terms of income, whose total income exceeded 9.5 million hryvnias, of which 6.5 million belonged to his wife’s business. The second in the ranking was the family of Anatoliy Urbansky, with an income of 6.6 million hryvnias, the main source of which was his wife’s income. The family of Ivan Shynkarenko from the Servant of the People party was in third place, declaring 3.7 million hryvnias.
Interestingly, earlier questions were raised about deputies’ violations of the law, particularly in connection with the change in the CCC fine system and the financing of important social programs.
