In Lviv, a man who was evading the CCC sprayed gas

In Lviv, a man sprayed gas in the face of a serviceman and a police officer during a document check. Both were hospitalized with eye injuries. The attacker was detained, and it turned out that he was wanted.

The Lviv Regional CCC and the Joint Police reported this.

The incident occurred on May 21 at around 10:00 on Knyahyni Olhy Street. Service members from one of the district Cs, together with the police, were notifying conscripts when one of the men, having asked him to show his military registration documents, tried to escape. When they almost caught up with him, he turned sharply and sprayed, probably, pepper spray.

Representatives of the CCC and the police were injured. Both were taken to the hospital with serious eye problems.

The military enlistment office noted that the wounded serviceman was a soldier who had recently transferred to the ranks of the CCK from the 24th separate mechanized brigade due to health problems. The message emphasizes: “Yesterday you protected him, performing tasks at the front, and today in the rear he sprays gas in your eyes.” The attacker was detained. He turned out to be a citizen liable for military service who was wanted. The issue of opening criminal proceedings is being resolved.
