The state -owned GTS Operator of Ukraine deliberately impedes the restoration of the destroyed gas infrastructure – the media

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine again discussed the flashy situation in the field of gas distribution. Recently, it became known that the Russian Federation has struck gas distribution stations in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions. These shellings require urgent repairs, but the lack of the necessary gas pressure regulators complicates their implementation.

According to government sources, the situation is only deteriorating. Two regulators were expected in 2024, but both had already been blocked.

In particular, the first bidding was announced but was subsequently appealed in court. After that, the second auction was announced, but these procedures are currently under the threat of disruption. Government officials say that Boris Lyubich, CEO of the GTS Operator of Ukraine operator of Ukraine, systematically disqualifies all procurement participants.

The Cabinet emphasized that the details of these public procurements can be found in the Prozorro system. They also expressed anxiety about the fact that Lyubich’s actions could be at the hands of the aggressor.

Solving this problem will require urgent and decisive action by players in the gas distribution market.
