Tragic event at TPP: Fire took people’s lives in White Church

There was a large fire on the territory of the local thermal power plant on May 21 during repair work. Previously, two people were killed as a result of the incident.

Local media transmitted the tragedy, citing emergency services. Eyewitnesses reported that the fire broke out suddenly when repair crews worked at the facility.

Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene and were able to localize the fire, preventing its further spread. The ignition was eliminated in the shortest possible time.

Investigation of the circumstances of the tragedy is currently underway. Investigators and relevant services are engaged in establishing the causes of the fire, but official information about the dead has not yet been provided.

The Belotserkovsk City Council promised to provide more information after completing the check. In particular, an official statement from the State Emergency Service is expected.

A video of a large-scale fire in Ryazan also appeared on the network. The fire, which probably happened at the local refinery plant of the Ryazan oil refining company, also affected the Novo-Ryazan TPP. The video shows two large fires that happened near each other.
