GUR strikes five elite Russian divers in Novorossiysk Bay

In Novorossiysk Bay, a Ukrainian naval drone struck, killing five elite reconnaissance divers of the Russian Navy. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this.

During the operation in the Black Sea, one of the naval drones managed to enter Novorossiysk Bay, where the remains of large ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are located. Due to the influence of electronic warfare, the drone lost contact with the base and began to drift. After that, the Russian command decided to raise the drone for research.

For this purpose, a group of five reconnaissance divers from a unit specializing in underwater activities and sabotage was sent. These representatives of special forces receive special training and are provided with the most modern equipment.

During an attempt to interact with the Ukrainian drone, an explosion occurred, as a result of which all five people died. According to sources, discontent is brewing among the Russian troops stationed in Novorossiysk due to the senseless command, which led to the loss of an elite group of special divers.
