Explosions, fires, air defense: latest news about the drone attack on Crimea

In Feodosia, in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, drones again attacked an oil depot, which was the second action at this facility in a few days. After the hit, a large fire broke out.

The explosions were reported on the telegram channel “Crimean Wind”. The published video footage shows at least three tanks burning. Residents note that fire engines are actively arriving at the scene.

Satellite images also confirm the scale of the fire. The designated “head of Crimea,” Sergei Aksenov, confirmed the attack.

“A fire has broken out. No casualties have been recorded yet. All relevant services are working on the site. Previously, the air defense destroyed more than 20 drones,” he said.

“Crimean Wind” also reported that the previous attack on this oil depot took place on the night of October 6, the eve of the birthday of the Russian President. At that time, there were no official reports of explosions, even though the fire lasted several days.

There were also reports of a possible hit on the 220 kV Kafa electrical substation near Feodosia.

In addition, reports of air defense and drone attacks were received from the Simferopol district, including the village of Gvardiyske. It is from this place that the Russian army launches “shaheeds” across the territory of Ukraine and stores military warehouses.

As for the previous attack, on the night of October 6, the facilities of the Marine Oil Terminal JSC in Feodosia were hit. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that this is an essential technological complex for the transshipment of oil and oil products from railcars to sea vessels and road transport. This equipment was actively used to supply the occupying army. After the hit, a large fire broke out there.
